I've always loved high waisted shorts. Not only are the comfortable, but they are easy to dress up (or down).
An easy way to dress up any outfit is to add heels- but in the summer time, go for wedges! They're far more comfortable, too!
High waisted shorts make your legs look longer! I also wore nude wedges for double the effect.
If your shorts are tight, then wear a loose top! It balances out the equilibrium a bit
