Flawless Face

Hey Everyone, my subscribers on youtube ask me all the time to update my flawless face routine. I thought I would go ahead and tell you guys what I use on my blog instead, because I tend to switch up my face routine every once in a while. Below is what I use and love on a daily basis, so enjoy!

I change up my cleanser every few months, because as seasons change, so does the texture of my face! Right now I'm using Origin's Zero Oil Cleanser. It's very gentle, with almost no smell at all, so I love it!

I am currently hooked on my Neutrogena Oil Free Moisture for Sensitive Skin. The same line also has moisturizers for oily skin, combination, normal, and dry.
Oily skin, you stand no chance against my Prep and Prime Skin Visage SPF 50 by MAC! This product is absolutely 100% holy grail for me. It keeps oil at bay for 12 hours at a time, and helps makeup stay put all day! I have yet to use any other primer that comes even close to this!
I have pigmentation around certain areas of my face, and due to this its hard for me to find a foundation that works- REALLY works. I am currently using Makeup Forever's Mat Velvet Plus Foundation in the shade 65. This foundation is full coverage but does not give a mask like appearance. Great for oily skin, and matches my skin color beautifully! Expensive, but worth it.
I go through concealer phases- that's the sad truth! Sometimes I want an extremely highlighted look (aka Kim Kardashian) and sometimes I want a more natural, every day look. I love using my Pro Longwear in NW35 by MAC for the perfect highlighted under eye look.

  1. Megha I was wondering if the Boscia's Purifying Cleansing Gel is good for oily skin because I have bin trying every single product that you have recomended for oily skin and none of them have failed me but this doesnt really look like it has anything to do with oil so I just wanted to ask what it does

  2. I wouldnt say this product is meant for oily skin, but I just love the fact that it's incredibly gentle and has no scent. also, my skin has been drying out lately so I'm not using products that are 100% meant for oily skin. hope that helps!

  3. I will give it a try and btw your blog looks really cute!

  4. Thx for responding so quickly on YT. I will definitely give some of these products a try. I use the prep&prime w/o SPF & it hasn't had much effect on oil control for me. Have you ever used the one w/o SPF? I used to use MAC studio fix powder w/foundation but I wanted to try something lighter. I've been using the MAC mineralize skin finish natural but I feel like I'm still too dewy looking. I'll give the NARS matte or Bare escentuals matte a try. Thx for all the informative vids & sharing your talent w/the world. Keep up the great work!!

  5. hi charlene, let me know what you think about the above products! iv never tried any of macs prep and prime without spf, so i cant compare what i use to the one you mentioned. and for me too, the mac studio fix is getting too heavy! for the days that I want to look fresh without too much makeup, i use macs studio finish concealer and then put on a bit of msf in medium dark all over my face. its such a pretty glowing look!

  10. Well basically I use the MIa Bellezza for every day because its much more natural and does enough for my eyes. The pro longwear is great but I only use that for nights out.

  12. Hi !
    I'm from Norway!:)
I was just wondering about the Mac Prep+Prime protection skin visage spf 50. Is it true that spf makeup will make you look white on camera/pictures? Is it like awful white? Do you then recommend the Mac Prep+prime without the spf instead ? Or does it not matter because its a primer, and you've got foundation over it?
could you please make a video/post pictures of your makeup without and with spf on this website?? I don't know why but I can't enter your other web (artistrybymegha).
Please answer! You are soo beautiful and talented!

  14. Hi Megha,

I was wondering if you could do a video on just affordable drug store products that you use. I have heard a lot about ELF products, do you use them at all?

  15. Hi Megha. My name is Zahra. I've been watching your youtube channel for almost a year now. And I just saw your channel about your giveaway =] It's because of you I signed up for Blogspot.. I'm not even sure I'm posting in the current location but I will also post on your youtube channel as well! By, the way before I answer your questions I must say you are a beautiful person inside and out ( I'm not saying this to win) I'm simply mentioning this because not many people would want to give away such wonderful items to other people. It really shows how amazing you are!

Question #1) I love your youtube channel because I love so many things about YOU. For one, I love a girl that is not afraid to show her other side (the side without make-up, that is.) You make other girls (including me) realize that everyone is not perfect and not everyone has flawless skin; Especially your Imperfections tag video, you have guts and it shows how comfortable you are with yourself to do something like that!
It makes me a lot happier. I'm also an Asian female and have lots of dark marks on my skin from old acne marks and dark circles around my eyes and I'm only 20 but your channel tought me to how to use primer to cover up my problem areas. You also taught me to use Eyeliner, if you can see my default; I did my eyeliner while watching your channel! LOL

#2) I think I already mentioned that I learned to use black eye liner properly because of you. For the longest I was trying to get a decent
"cat-eye". I also purchased the grooming cream and dy shampoo by Bumble and Bumble because I also have hair that gets so frizzy after I curl it and oily hair after 2-3 days of washing. The products work soooo well with my hair! It's amazing!
Lastly, I think the major topic was when you posted about laser hair removal and I too have a really embarrassing problem with hair =[ Because, my family all has dark, thick, course hair; I've been suffering for so many years with it and never found pride in myself because of it. Your hair removal video and update was the reason I signed up with Living Social and found a great deal in New York, where I live. Three weeks ago was my first session and I'm already seeing results and the hair is just dropping off of my legs! That was the mother of all problems for me, and I have your channel to thank!

#3) I'd like to see what was the ending results for your laser hair removal. Is it coming back course or thick? How long until you have to shave? Or is it all gone? I'd also like to know what facial scrubs or washes you use. I'm not sure if you've made a video about it but, I have skin that breaks out and no matter how hard I try to keep it break out free, I still get them often. Do you think liquid foundation every day can be the cause of it although I wash my face before I sleep? Just some skin tips... I am new to this blogging website and I see you have posts about it; so maybe this will answer some of my questions.

    Thanks Megha <3

  21. So I have the ABSOLUTE WORST dark circles you will ever see! I'm your skin color and I know you've mentioned ever pearl, origins, and mac prolongwear. But for someone like me, what would you say i should go with? Oh and i dont wear foundation btw!

    ReplyDelete
  22. if you dont wear foundation any concealer is going to be hard to blend in..i would try the eve pearl before anything to conceal darkness

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. But since the eve pearl has a salmony tint to it, wont it be super hard to blend and very noticeable if I put it on since I dont wear foundation. Like will it look like i have to orangish circles under my eyes if I apply that on?

  23. Hi Megha,

The pink corrector you use, can you use it on dark circles before applying concealer? Thx!

  24. Hi Megha,
Was wondering if you use a night time moisturizer or serum, and if so which one? I seem to have similar skin tone and skin issues as you do, and would love to hear your thoughts on night creams/serums/etc.
Great videos, and great blog - thanks so much for dedicating so much time to teach us all that you know!

  29. Hi Megha what foundation would you suggest for indian dry skin with same skin tone as yours..

  30. Hey megha I absolutely love your YT vids !! They are super easy to follow with amazing results xx !! So what I wanted to know was you never do heavy contouring ( cause obviously you don't need it with your perfect face structure!) .... But for someone like me with not so high cheekbones and a perfect jaw line ...how would you suggest to do it ?? CAN YOU PLEASE POST A VIDEO ? Thank you xx

  31. Hi Megha,

MAC vs. Graftobian foundation. I'm currently using MAC studio sculpt foundation spf 15 (NC42). I saw in your Youtube video that you highly recommend Graftobian creme foundation for the Mario D look. Which foundation shade do you recommend?
