OOTD: High Waisted Shorts

I've always loved high waisted shorts. Not only are the comfortable, but they are easy to dress up (or down). 

An easy way to dress up any outfit is to add heels- but in the summer time, go for wedges! They're far more comfortable, too!

High waisted shorts make your legs look longer! I also wore nude wedges for double the effect.

If your shorts are tight, then wear a loose top! It balances out the equilibrium a bit

A thick, bold necklace completes the look- plus, the shorts have a touch of red as well!

OOTD: Feeling Lucky In Green

This top caught my eye (and heart) upon first glance. I've become a boutique shopper in recent times because I like finding unique pieces that I know everyone will not have. Vertical stripes have always been a favorite of mine, and I found the loose top to be charming with the vertical stripes, as loose tops dont help elongate your frame, while vertical stripes do. Hmm, juxtaposition. Enjoy!

Kimono sleeves add a kick to the shape of the top, making it more girly

The side view of the top looks sleek, while if you view it from the front, it looks loose and easy flowing

Love the peek a boo back! Nobody would know that this top is so special from the back at first glance!

 I threw on a braided dark brown belt just to add a bit more casual-ness (is that a word?) to the outfit

Pair the top with white jeans or dark jeans for a nighttime look- and if you feel daring, then skip the tank! 

Mixing patterns is huge this season- so I embraced that!

I'm still loving mixing black and brown, hence the watch and belt combo

I have owned this dress for over 3 years. It was a cheap buy at Forever 21, and I love it! I hope you guys like the look I put together!

I turned a simple tube dress into something a bit more special by adding a thick patterned leather belt

This dress is so thin, its a great item for the summer!

I didn't want the belt and necklace to compete for attention, so I put the necklace inside my top so that all you can see is the top part around my neck

I am wearing all different colors in the jewelry, but it goes so well! 

Nude pumps are always the perfect shoe!

To dress it down, you can always throw on some flip flops instead!

Love the gold inner tear duct accent, and the fanned out lashes

I like how in this picture you can see that her crease isnt extended, she just followed her natural eye shape
